We, teachers at Spring Brainy Kidz,
understand children below 6 years old even 3 years old are the
best period to developer their brain power. So we incorporated
brain stimulating programes into our curriculum and make it more
beneficial to children in our center. We have planned a quality
child care program embedded with play activities that would make
learning fun and enjoyable. When we say fun, it means that the
child¡¯s mind is engaged and the child feels capable and powerful.
¡°Delight¡± is a key ingredient in all learning.

Children do not learn much from isolated activities.
Only through hundreds of repetitions and self-initiated variations
are concepts solidified. Realize that learning is integrated.
It is rare that a child learns just one thing from an activity.
Physical coordination, or ¡°motor¡± skills, is engaged along with
language, thinking skills, and social interactions.
We strongly encourage a parent- caregiver partnership. This will help the caregiver
to learn more about the child and his/her unique characteristics and allow
the child to form an attachment that is vital, as learning takes place
in an atmosphere of security and trust.
The first year of the human life is the most crucial period in development.
Research says that infants are learning almost from the time of conception.
It also confirms that the experiences an infant has during its first three
years of life shape the later life in both learning and behavior. Young children¡¯s
brains are more open to learning and enriching influences and hence the need
for many experiences in order to master skills is far more important than any
other period of life.
Our teachers respond quickly and gently to the child¡¯s needs. This enables
the children to feel valued and contributes to healthy self-esteem.
Hugging, singing and talking to children will contribute to
speech development. Children have an affinity for music from birth.
We enjoyably
integrate
the sound
and vibrations into the child¡¯s bodily movements.
Through play children develop skills and learning concepts. They get involved
in open-ended exploration. We allow babies to make choices, solve problems
and discover their own interests. We provide favourable environment for
them to interact with other children and learn about the world.
